Texture Play

Can you feel it? This season Mimco is spotlighting texture, turned all the way up. Think suede, weave and animal fabrications you can’t help but reach out and touch. A continuation of their love affair with Western and nouveau boho aesthetics, expect to see luxe, tactile finishes like hair-on-leather, croc-embossing and artisan whipstitching, all in bold applications that play with scale and contrast in fun, fresh ways.

Shearling & Fur

As the weather cools down, snuggling up with plush, fluffy fabrications across multiple silhouettes. Channel the ultimate in chalet girl glam with an unapologetically fab faux fur grab bag and matching stole, or, add a touch of luxury to your everyday carry with teddy-soft shearling totes and pouches. Cosy mode officially unlocked.

Western-Inspired Studs & Splicing

Giddy up! The Western trend shows no signs of slowing down. This season they’ve infused their range with a touch of cowgirl cool, looking to design details found on vintage boots and jackets to inspire the patterns and textures of our leather splicing. Croc embossing pairs with silky suedes, finished with hardware studding for a look that’s feminine with a touch of tough. These are pieces that make a free spirited statement all on their own. Style with a plain tee and jeans and let them take the reins.

Shape of the Season - East West Shoulder Bag

Runway-approved and street-style adored, the east-west shoulder bag is a modern classic. An evolution of the beloved baguette, the east-west is defined by its elongated rectangular shape and slim straps positioned at its centre. Sleek, versatile and the perfect base for all of your bag charms, this silhouette is the definition of day-to-night.

Continuing on from last season, charms and trinkets remain a key trend, and in particular, the concept of accessorising your accessories, or, ‘purse-onalisation’, as they like to call it. Not only are Mimco expanding their build-your-own charm offering with nine new mix-and-match styles that can be clipped wherever your heart desires, they’re iterating on the launch of the beloved Mimco-coined Bag Necklace, their genius design that can be draped side to side to switch up your bag’s look in seconds, or doubled as a strap for styles under 5kg.
